Doing exactly what it says on the tin - Launching Sprayon for Ronseal

The Brief

One of the best-known DIY brands in the UK, Ronseal identified an opportunity to diversify into industrial and engineering aerosols with its Sprayon brand. Pure PR was briefed to manage the launch with a view to maximising editorial coverage among trade and end-user audiences.

The Solution

A high-profile press launch was recommended. The agency scouted various locations before deciding on the Design Museum, which provided an apt setting and atmosphere for the innovative Sprayon range. A programme of keynote speakers from appropriate areas of industry was assembled to add credence to the presentation and increase editor attendance.

Did it work?

The event produced extensive, good quality coverage in the general engineering press as well as targeted specialist engineering media.
